Job Summary
Algorithm Engineer at Apogee Research focused on designing, implementing, and validating new algorithms across domains including networking, distributed data fusion and resource management, distributed electronic warfare, and distributed Command and Control (C2). Requires understanding of probability and statistics; experience with control systems is a strong plus. Not an entry-level role; real-world experience is required, with some software development experience strongly preferred. Location is Arlington, VA office with DoD Top Secret clearance strongly preferred (or eligible to obtain) and US citizenship required. The team works on compositional systems of systems to field resilient, distributed systems in contested environments, combining custom software toolchains with feedback control to adapt to changing environments.
