Job Summary
Design, implement, and validate new algorithms across networking, distributed data fusion, resource management, distributed electronic warfare, and distributed Command and Control. Characterize open-loop and close-loop stability of nonlinear systems through analysis, simulation, and experimentation. Leverage a background in probability, statistics, and control systems to develop resilient, distributed systems for contested environments. Requires demonstrated real-world application of research techniques; not an entry-level position. Existing DoD Top Secret clearance preferred, otherwise eligibility to obtain one required. Located in Arlington, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of probability and statistics
- US citizen
- Eligible to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance
- Real-world experience
- Track record of applying research techniques to real-world problems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with control systems
- Demonstrated understanding of how to characterize the open-loop and close-loop stability of nonlinear systems via analysis, simulation, and experimentation
- Some software development experience
- Existing DoD Top Secret clearance
- Understanding of networking
- Understanding of distributed data fusion
- Understanding of resource management
- Understanding of distributed electronic warfare
- Understanding of distributed Command and Control (C2)
