Job Summary
Algorithm Developer for the Quantum Register team at PASQAL. Develop and implement algorithms that translate hardware constraints into architectures and interfaces, bridging theory to simulation, validation, and production-grade software. Responsibilities include system-level problem solving, building understanding of Pasqal’s algorithm library, conducting simulation and data analysis, literature reviews, defining metrics and performance validation, and delivering scalable implementations. Collaboration with software and hardware engineers to integrate algorithms end-to-end; presenting results to mixed audiences and documenting methodologies. Requirements emphasize 5+ years in scientific libraries, strong Python, foundations in applied math/physics, and the ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary teams. Bonus skills include C/C++/Rust, GPU/vectorization, and ML experience. Fluency in English; French is a plus. The role offers a CDI (permanent contract) with a flexible hybrid work rhythm and offices in Massy/Palaiseau, France.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience developing and deploying scientific libraries from R&D to production
- Strong Python programming
- Foundations in applied math/physics (numerical methods, statistics, optimization, modeling)
- Ability to operate with autonomy and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Clear written and spoken English
