Job Summary
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents while assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and medication administration. Visit residents daily to evaluate physical and emotional status, monitor vital signs, and document medication treatments. Notify physicians of accidents or condition changes and ensure all care plans are followed. Supervise staff to implement health programs and maintain resident confidentiality and dignity. Participate in in-service training and continuing education to maintain professional competence.
Required Qualifications
- A current R.N. License
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, understand, communicate and write English
- Ability to lift, walk, climb stairs, and other physical demands as may be required depending upon residents' needs
