ALF Staff Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary
Create daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for nursing staff in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Regency standards. Prepare and maintain records of all shift schedules while communicating clearly to staff. Manage recruitment, orientation, and placement of employees, ensuring company compliance with relevant employment laws. Foster relationships with employees and external vendors, and perform functions of a charge nurse as required. Assist in the evacuation of residents and demonstrate dependable, regular attendance. Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
Required Qualifications
- attended an accredited LPN program
- currently licensed/registered in Alabama
- maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment
- schedule facility staff at levels determined by DON/Administrator
- prepare and maintain records of all shift schedules
- communicate clearly to staff
- understand State requirements and forecasting
- perform functions of a charge nurse as required
- exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents
- assist in the evacuation of residents
- demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- read, write, speak, and understand the English language
