Job Summary
ALF Caregiver provides supportive services to residents and staff, assists with activities of daily living per care plans, helps with transfers and positioning, dining room assistance, feeding, nutrition delivery, weight and vitals recording, medication services including narcotics, and EMR documentation. Maintains safety, infection control, confidentiality, and reports changes to nurses/supervisor; participates in care planning, emergency drills, and training; requires Home Care Aide or CNA certification, high school diploma, CPR/BLS, and ability to work 12-hour shifts; emphasizes teamwork, communication, and delivering respectful care.
Required Qualifications
- Home Care Aide certification or Nursing Assistant Certified (within 120 days of hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
- Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification
- Willing and able to work 12 hour shifts
