Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they depart, taking accurate food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system. Serve food and alcoholic beverages while monitoring tables to clear dishes and replace china, silverware, and glassware. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and daily specials, polishing glassware and silverware daily. Clean and organize the dining room, including assigned deep-cleaning duties, and assist hosts, food runners, and fellow servers to ensure efficient service. Record guest preferences in the reservation system to personalize future visits and recognize returning guests. Follow all company policies, health codes, and regulatory requirements, including obtaining and maintaining a Nebraska Gaming License, Food Handler Certification, and ServSafe Certification.
Required Qualifications
- 19 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to use smartphones, tablets, and touchscreen technology
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and ethical conduct
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License
- Food Handler Certification
- ServSafe Certification
- TIPS Alcohol Certification
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and grave shifts based on business needs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) years of serving and customer service experience
- Previous experience using mobile devices or tablet applications in a restaurant environment
