Job Summary
Frontline role reducing alcohol-related harm by ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. Responsibilities include inspections of licensed premises, educating licensees and managers, gathering evidence, preparing reports, and taking enforcement steps as needed. Involves some night monitoring and potential involvement in court proceedings; collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (police, Auckland Regional Public Health, environmental health) to resolve compliance issues. Demonstrates professionalism, negotiation, and strong interpersonal and written communication skills; suitable for someone with at least two years in compliance/regulatory work. The role contributes to achieving compliance outcomes across Manukau and Auckland CBD hubs, with a safety-sensitive pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screen requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in compliance, law enforcement, investigation, or regulatory environment
- Current full, clean driver’s license
