Job Summary
Under direction of a certified teacher, instructs students and adapts curriculum to meet needs of students. Duties include administering tests and assessments; monitors students’ IEP progress; and documents behavior, progress, and results of student activities. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom instruction, providing one-on-one and group tutoring, monitoring behavior, assisting with grading, preparing materials, entering student information, attending in-service trainings, and performing related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- one year of educational or clerical experience
- First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment
- Valid DPS Arizona FPCC
