Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive adult cardiac surgery services including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements. Lead program development, quality improvement, and clinical research initiatives while actively teaching residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative team supported by strong cardiology and anesthesia services. Participate in system-wide electronic medical record operations and utilize state-of-the-art operating rooms and perioperative technology. Maintain an operative case log and demonstrate research and teaching abilities for an academic appointment.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in Adult Cardiac Surgery
- At least 2 years of clinical experience post fellowship training
- Clinically oriented
- research experience
