Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive adult cardiac surgery services including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while actively advancing the Cardiac Surgery program through teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supported by strong cardiology and anesthesia services. Participate in program development and utilize state-of-the-art operating rooms and modern EMR systems. Requires board certification in Adult Cardiac Surgery with at least two years of post-fellowship experience and eligibility for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or related degree
- board certification or eligibility in Adult Cardiac Surgery
- At least 2 years of clinical experience post fellowship training
- Clinically oriented
