Cardiac Anesthesia Faculty Opportunity at Albany Medical Center. Join a high-volume adult Cardiac Anesthesia Division within a leading academic medical center. Responsibilities include providing anesthesia for cardiac surgical and interventional cardiology patients (CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery, and a busy structural heart program with TAVR/TMVR/TEER), teaching and mentoring cardiac anesthesia fellows, residents, SRNAs, and medical students, and participating in clinical and educational research. Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and intensivists in a multidisciplinary environment. Flexible staffing patterns and part-time options. The Cardiac Anesthesia Service handles approximately 700 open cardiac surgical cases and 1,200+ structural heart cases annually, with state-of-the-art intraoperative TEE and a dedicated cardiac OR block. Salary range for Assistant Professor is competitive ($391k-$411k) with a sign-on bonus up to $45k, relocation up to $7.5k, and overtime opportunities.
