Job Summary
Coordinate the Alaska Youth Stewards (AYS) program by planning, implementing, and supervising the AYS program across seasonal workflows. Direct supervision of youth crew members during the AYS season, enforce safety standards and trauma-informed practices, coordinate with environmental and cultural partners, track attendance and performance, provide coaching, support program documentation and reporting, and assist with grant planning and capacity-building to strengthen youth pathways within Tribal conservation and environmental programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year of progressively responsible administrative support experience, performing similar duties.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal and State background check.
- This position has been designated as having regular contact or control over Indian children and will require an additional FBI criminal background check.
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
