Job Summary
Provide dependable coverage during staffing shortages, vacancies, or employee leaves across rural, remote, Tribal, and frontier healthcare organizations in Alaska. Support patient care, department operations, and quality standards while adapting to environments with limited local resources or weather disruptions. Collaborate with permanent staff, local leadership, and community partners to stabilize schedules, coordinate care, and maintain culturally respectful, accessible services. Assist with seasonal demand, recruitment transitions, and operational challenges, bringing specialty experience to teams with immediate needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure, certification, registration, or eligibility as required for the profession
- Eligibility for Alaska licensure when applicable
- The ability to meet background, health, credentialing, privileging, and onboarding requirements
- The ability to travel regionally, relocate temporarily, or work a rotational schedule when required
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant clinical, technical, therapy, behavioral health, or healthcare support experience
- Strong communication, reliability, adaptability, and professional judgment
- The ability to enter a new environment and work collaboratively with an established team
