Job Summary
Install, service, and inspect low-voltage electronic security equipment at customer sites throughout the workday. Diagnose system failures, replace components, and conduct thorough walkthroughs to verify functionality and signal verification. Perform customer education and training, including system demonstrations, while identifying opportunities to improve system usage. Maintain safety practices and ensure clean, organized job sites. Requires valid driver's license, experience with panels like 2GIG and Ademco, and ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces. Base pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour with commission eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Good driving record and Valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates
- Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights
- Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
- Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification
- NICET I
