Job Summary
Alarm Monitor at LBYD Federal tasked with monitoring security for the National Defense University and performing visitor-control duties. Responsibilities include monitoring Lenel security system equipment, verifying personnel with badges/CAC, issuing temporary visitor badges, conducting security checks of high-value/restricted areas (every four hours), reporting irregularities to base police, managing electronic records of visits, and assisting employees and visitors. Must have CCTV experience and proficiency with MS Office and Lenel system; active Secret Clearance and High School diploma required. Schedule is part-time with flexibility to include nights, holidays, and weekends. Prolonged walking and security monitoring duties are typical in an indoor environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- 2-3 years of security experience
- Must have Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) experience
- Must be proficient with MS Office Suites
- Must be proficient with the Lenel System
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, Holidays, and weekends 7 days per week as needed
