Job Summary

Conduct alarm company license management across the United States by serving as the Qualified Manager, Responsible Managing Employee, or Qualifying Agent. Research, prepare, and submit license applications, renewals, and regulatory filings while monitoring deadlines, continuing education, insurance, and background requirements. Maintain comprehensive licensing records, act as the primary liaison with state licensing boards, and advise executive leadership on regulatory risks and expansion strategy. Develop licensing policies, compliance procedures, and training materials, and assist with internal audits and regulatory inspections. Collaborate with operations, legal, and sales teams to ensure full compliance across all business activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in one or more of the following: Alarm system sales, Alarm system installation, Alarm monitoring, Alarm company operations
  • Must possess the knowledge, experience, and qualifications necessary to serve—or become eligible to serve—as the company's designated Qualified Manager, Responsible Managing Employee (RME), Qualifying Agent, or equivalent licensing qualifier in multiple jurisdictions, subject to state-specific requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of alarm industry operations and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to research, interpret, and apply state statutes, administrative rules, and licensing regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidates with more than two years of relevant industry experience
  • Three or more years of alarm industry experience
  • Previous experience serving as a Qualified Manager, Responsible Managing Employee (RME), Qualifying Agent, or similar licensing qualifier
  • Experience obtaining and maintaining alarm licenses in multiple states
  • Experience working directly with state licensing boards and regulatory agencies
  • Compliance management or regulatory affairs experience
  • Experience developing employee training, operational policies, and compliance manuals
  • Knowledge of corporate registrations, Secretary of State filings, and business licensing requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of the alarm industry and understands the regulatory framework governing alarm companies throughout the United States
  • Capable of serving as the company's licensing qualifier in multiple states, maintaining compliance with diverse regulatory requirements, and supporting the organization's continued national growth
  • Contribute strategic guidance for licensing, compliance, employee training, and policy development while serving as the company's primary regulatory resource
