Job Summary
Provide professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to all guests, including greeting them by name, serving water, bread, and coffee, and setting up tables. Complete closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment, restocking items, and finishing the daily cleaning checklist. Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures while inspecting china, glass, and silver prior to use. Ensure adherence to safety standards, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and follow all company policies. Perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven surfaces. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and protect company assets and proprietary information.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to read and visually verify information in a variety formats (e.g., small print)
