Job Summary
Own and expand relationships with clients' senior management, including CIOs, CROs, CFOs, and COOs, to understand business objectives and help clients use Aladdin expertise to achieve their firm's goals. Connect client executives with senior BlackRock leaders to strengthen relationships and facilitate opportunities for BlackRock asset management mandates. Cultivate an extensive network of BlackRock partners to orchestrate holistic, enterprise-wide solutions tailored to each client's strategic needs. Own the commercial success and financial outcomes for clients, including renewals, new product subscriptions, and changes to fee structure. Partner with Business Development to identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional Aladdin products and services. Stay current on industry trends to help clients stay ahead of changing conditions and further strengthen standing as a trusted advisor. Engage with clients to define strategic and tactical initiatives to resolve issues, expand adoption, and embed Aladdin. This client-facing role bridges institutional relationship management with knowledge of client industry needs and the broader Aladdin ecosystem. The position reports to the Aladdin Client Engagement team within BlackRock Solutions, supporting the investment process for clients managing over $20 trillion in assets.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of work experience in financial services or consulting
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering
- Strong interest in FinTech and financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies, and/or asset management
- Strong background in buy-side investment management, risk management, and/or middle-office workflows
- Strong understanding of fixed income and equity securities, markets, and their operational workflows
- High level of comfort with complexity across quantitative, technological, and process-oriented topics
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts simply and clearly to a range of audiences
- Experience with SQL, UNIX, BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, similar tools, and/or Aladdin
- Proficiency with commonly used AI tools, such as Copilot and ChatGPT, and customer relationship management platforms
- CFA, FRM, CIMA, or CAIA certification
Desired Qualifications
