Job Summary
Conduct personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and incontinence care. Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions, perform light housekeeping, and accompany patients on errands or medical appointments. Provide patient-specific tasks such as medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and care for bed-bound patients using equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Offer hospice supportive care as directed by staff. Flexible scheduling available with weekend shift differentials and weekly pay. Full-time equivalent health insurance benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene assistance
- Ability to assist with ambulation and transfers
- Ability to assist with dressing
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Ability to accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to provide hospice supportive care
- Ability to provide medication reminders
- Ability to assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Ability to care for bed-bound patients
- Ability to use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
