Job Summary
Lead supervision of heavy civil site work, manage projects ranging from $500K to $10M as a prime contractor, interpret blueprints and develop production schedules, build and coach a productive team, ensure safety and environmental controls, and coordinate stakeholder relationships across site projects including sitework, paving, demolition, concrete, and earth moving. Strong focus on leadership, planning, and driving production efficiency in a 50-hour workweek within a 2-hour radius around Gadsden, AL; 10+ years’ experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- 5 years experience in site work
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Valid drivers license
- Understand production goals and how to meet them
- Understand and develop project schedules
- Manage heavy civil commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and large site projects from $500K - $10M
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Project leadership experience as prime contractor preferred with broad scope responsibilities
- Experience with Trimble or GPS (preferred)
