Job Summary
LPN DAYSHIFT provides basic nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and follow care plans. Duties encompass documenting health status and responses in medical records, assisting with clinical procedures, ensuring safe medication administration, infection control, and maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Requires strong clinical nursing skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being during 12-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active LPN license
- Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred but not required
