Job Summary
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide basic nursing care including wound care and personal hygiene assistance under RN and physician direction. Document patient health status and care plans accurately while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient and resident well-being. Maintain medication records, follow infection control protocols, and assist with clinical procedures such as dressing changes and injections. Provide compassionate communication to patients and families regarding treatments and care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Active LPN license
