Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and a pleasant environment within a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living facility by performing routine cleaning tasks and following established infection control protocols. Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces; sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and furniture. Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, while ensuring proper disposal of soiled items. Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and monitor inventory levels, safely handling chemicals per guidelines. Respond promptly to resident and staff requests, report maintenance issues or safety hazards, and wear PPE as required.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in healthcare, long-term care, or hospitality settings
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
