Job Summary
Assist in meal preparation and service by following established menus and dietary guidelines for residents or patients. Serve meals, prepare trays, and deliver food to rooms while ensuring proper portion control and adherence to special diets such as diabetic or gluten-free plans. Maintain kitchen sanitation by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and rotating stock to minimize waste. Follow all food safety regulations and communicate with staff regarding dietary needs. Interact courteously with residents and patients to support their dining experience. High school diploma required; previous food service or healthcare experience preferred.
