Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of nursing department operations, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Develop and review individualized care plans while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and families to address resident health concerns and resolve issues promptly. Manage the nursing department budget and optimize resource utilization for efficient care delivery. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and lead quality improvement initiatives. Requires an active RN license, Associate's degree in Nursing, and minimum 5 years of nursing experience with 2-3 years in leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and clinical care standards in assisted living
- Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and compassion
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and health management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
