Job Summary
Part-time AL Dietary Aide assists with kitchen cleaning and dishwashing, sets up and clears dining rooms, and assists with serving meals to residents. Responsible for washing pots, pans, plates, glasses, and silverware; cleaning kitchen surfaces and equipment; operating dish machines; daily grease-trap cleaning; following infection-control and safety procedures; completing incident/accident reports; may assist with salad and dessert preparation; participates in meetings and trainings. Requires ability to communicate in English, pass criminal background and fingerprint verification, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving carts and trays as part of a senior living dining services team.
Required Qualifications
- Criminal background check and fingerprint verification required before hire
- English-language communication ability (speak, read, understand)
- Ability to respond to inquiries from residents and regulatory agencies
- Experience as dishwasher or food server is helpful
