Job Summary

Provide attentive, nurturing care for an almost two-year-old daughter, including diapering, toileting, dressing, and maintaining safe, age-appropriate boundaries. Plan indoor and outdoor activities, read, play crafts, and take the child on approved local outings while preparing simple meals and snacks. Support established nap routines and assist with hygiene, ensuring a positive environment focused on redirection rather than punitive discipline like timeouts. Maintain the child's bedroom and play areas, wash dishes and organize supplies, and safely supervise the child around the family's swimming pool. Drive the child to activities and work collaboratively with the weekday nanny and parents.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of recent professional childcare experience
  • Excellent verifiable references
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong swimming skills
  • Knowledge of water safety and experience supervising young children around a swimming pool
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Comfortable working in a home with a French bulldog
  • Willingness to undergo a background check
  • Legally able to work in the United States
