Job Summary
Manage daily otolaryngology care at a government facility, treating patients ages 2 and older with 12–15 patients on regular weeks or 10 patients on alternating on-call weeks. Perform 1–2 operating room days weekly, managing cases including ear tubes, tonsils, basic airways, tympanoplasty, and mastoidectomy. Provide inpatient rounding for post-surgical patients and handle same-day surgeries during on-call rotations. Work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm with alternating on-call weeks
- Regular week -- 12 - 15 patients per day
- On-call week -- 10 patients per day with OR and same day surgeries
- Government facility
- 1 - 2 OR days per week during regular clinic weeks
- Ear tubes, tonsils, basic airway -- tympanoplasty & mastoidectomy preferred
- Inpatient rounding required for post-surgical patients
- Treats patients ages 2 and older
