Job Summary
AISR NOC Technician II supporting the DISA DISN/GIG services in the DGOC. Responsible for 24x7 monitoring and incident management, creating and updating Remedy tickets, incident correlation and fault analysis to identify root causes and coordinate fault correction and service restoration. Provides global situational awareness updates and sustainment support for outages, interfaces with Shift lead and O&M leadership, and demonstrates proficiency with DISN components (routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching). Requires DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent), active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret, HS diploma with 1-3 years experience, and ability to work in a 24/7 operation. Location: Scott AFB, IL.
Required Qualifications
- DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent)
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operation
- High school diploma and 1-3 years of experience
- Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management
- Proficiency with DISN equipment: routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching
- General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP
