Job Summary
Aisles Online Shopper responsible for accurately selecting groceries ordered online and providing prompt, friendly customer service. Responsibilities include selecting highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products; scanning, bagging, and preparing online orders; guiding customers within the store, answering phones/emails, and ensuring orders are stored at proper temperatures before pickup. Must lift up to 50 pounds, work NIGHT and WEEKENDS, and adhere to store policies while maintaining professional communication with customers and colleagues. Prioritizes customer satisfaction, accuracy in order picking, and efficient completion of online orders in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Commitment to Hy-Vee mission and values
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to customers professionally
- Ability to identify problems and develop/execute solutions
- Ability to substitute products for customers upon request
- Well organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Physical ability to perform medium work (lift up to 50 pounds) and repetitive motions
- Experience with handling groceries and maintaining proper temperatures in storage/holding areas
