Job Summary
The Airport Warehouse Part-Time Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining print quality, calculating parts needed, labeling orders, and ensuring completed products are properly packaged. Key duties include enforcing safety requirements, documenting quality issues, and maintaining a clean work area. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent organizational skills, and the physical ability to meet job demands, including lifting and visual acuity requirements. The role involves collaborating with team members to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and upholding company quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED equivalent is preferred
- Must have the ability to calculate part requirements
- Must pass the Ishihara and/or the Farnsworth D-15 Color Vision Test
Desired Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift and 10.75 during a 12-hour shift
- Minimal lifting capabilities of 30 lbs. at a minimal frequency of 20 times per hour
- Visual acuity of at least 20/50 corrected vision for distance and a minimum near vision ability to read 7-point font at 12 inches
- Ability to reach and lift 30 lbs. to shoulder height at a minimum of 10 times per hour
