Job Summary
Operate printing/packaging machinery and monitor print quality within specified color range; calculate the number of parts needed to complete orders; label and sequence orders, place completed boxes on skids, and transfer parts to totes or tray packs; separate scrap and mark with SCRAP labels; ensure products of like materials are boxed together; complete order paperwork; maintain safety, environmental, and health requirements; communicate any quality issues to the next shift and document customer specifications; stamp boxes with date, shift, and clock number; maintain clean and orderly work area; adhere to Amcor values and promote safety and quality across operations; meet color-vision and lifting requirements while operating and troubleshooting equipment; participate in company safety and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to calculate part requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk for 7+ hours during an 8-hour shift and 10.75 hours during a 12-hour shift
- Minimal lifting capabilities of 30 lbs at a frequency of 20 times per hour
- Visual acuity of 20/50 corrected vision and ability to read 7-point font at 12 inches
- Ability to reach and lift 30 lbs to shoulder height at least 10 times per hour
- Must pass color vision tests (Ishihara and/or Farnsworth D-15)
