Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and repair Central Utility Plant equipment at Denver International Airport, including boilers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and hydronic systems; manage building automation systems (BACnet/LON, Metasys BAS); lead maintenance and installation activities; troubleshoot and respond to safety/environmental concerns; coordinate with contractors; manage parts stock and prepare cost estimates; on-call and extended hours may be required; requires Stationary Engineer license and EPA 608 certification; shifts include 5:30–3:30, 1:00–11:00, and 8:30–6:30 with potential rotation; 24/7/365 operation with snow/emergency duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Three (3) years of experience in Stationary Engineering
- Education/Experience Equivalency: combination may be substituted for minimum education/experience
- Licensures/Certification: EPA 608 certification before end of probation; City and County of Denver Stationary Engineer License before end of probation; valid driver's license (at time of application)
