Job Summary
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of PLC controlled baggage and conveyor systems. Perform mechanical duties such as electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair. Operate various equipment like a golf cart and forklift, assist with bag jams, and input maintenance data into a computerized system. Applicants should have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and at least one year of maintenance experience. Industrial electrical experience and mechanic skills are crucial.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1+ years’ experience in the area of maintenance operations
- Industrial Electrical Experience; specifically with 3 phase motors and 480v
- Mechanic skills including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Airport operations
- Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Additional Requirements
- Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift including weekends and holidays
