Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to deter security-related incidents while supporting travelers and staff through strong communication. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts or public agencies. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and assist with traffic flow and credential checks. Work a day shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM at a government airport location in Lihue, HI, earning $22.50 per hour plus a $1.96 hourly bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
