Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in Lihue, HI terminals, public zones, parking locations, and perimeters to deter security incidents and identify unusual conditions. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts or public agencies. Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential checks to assist with traffic flow and general information requests. Work a rotating day shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, earning $22.50 per hour plus a $1.96 bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
