Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for post presence, vigilance, and access control at Phoenix Sky Harbor. Duties include conducting post inspections and equipment inspections, reviewing pass-along information, identifying and denying access to prohibited items, maintaining logs and incident reports, verifying credentials and badges, inspecting belongings, and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and client assets. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, being 18+, U.S. citizen or lawful resident, valid Arizona guard license, ability to pass a drug screen, and ability to follow security orders and post procedures. The role is Full Time or Part Time with an hourly pay of $19.80.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- U.S. citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident
- Must have a valid Arizona guard license
- Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to provide a local address and phone number
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a random drug screen
- Must demonstrate ability to learn security operation and procedures
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance
- Able to pass a skills assessment process
