Monitor assigned areas and facilities while observing and reporting suspicious activity or behavior. Enforce security rules, regulations, and post orders by screening and logging individuals and vehicles entering restricted zones. Conduct vehicle inspections, direct traffic, and perform fire watch duties as assigned. Respond to door alarms, unauthorized access attempts, and emergency situations including fires, explosions, and bomb threats. Maintain accurate activity and incident logs, prepare reports, and use electronic guard tour monitoring systems. Report for duty 30 minutes before shift for roll call and remain at post throughout the scheduled shift unless relieved.
