Job Summary

As an Airport Ramp Agent, you will safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo from the aircraft to the airport. Responsibilities include operating ground equipment, preparing aircraft cabins for departure, guiding aircraft to and from gate positions, and maintaining safe working conditions. You must be comfortable working in extreme weather, have basic computer skills, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities. This entry-level position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and adaptability to varied work schedules including nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language fluently
  • Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and baggage routing
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass an extensive post-offer, pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check
  • Must successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug test

Additional Requirements

  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, a clean driving record, and a 10-year criminal history check
