Job Summary
The Airport Operations Specialist ensures daily airport operations, performing essential functions such as assisting in airport operations coordination, ensuring compliance with FAA and TSA regulations, responding to aircraft emergencies, and implementing wildlife control measures. Responsibilities include maintaining inspection logs, monitoring airport security systems, issuing NOTAMs, performing maintenance on airfield equipment, and making operational decisions when necessary. Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 year experience in airport operations or related fields
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations Part 139 and Part 77
- Familiarity with public safety and security protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
