Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections of airport property and aircraft movement areas for FAR-Part 139 compliance and safety. Make work orders and minor airfield maintenance to maintain regulatory standards while prioritizing field operations within limited time-frames. Identify and rectify safety hazards, anticipate risks, and coordinate FAA-regulated security programs. Provide training to airport tenants, vendors, and emergency responders; decide on access privileges and enforce security requirements with the Sheriff's Department. Execute aircraft fire and crash rescue functions, manage snow removal operations including runway inspections and NOTAM reporting, and mitigate wildlife hazards. Perform unskilled and semi-skilled labor tasks for property maintenance and equipment upkeep.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of related work experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Colorado driver's license
- Snow removal experience
- Fire-Fighter experience
- Airport operations experience
- Pilot's license/flight training experience
- Fast learner
- Strong work ethic
- Great attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Independent decision-making skills
