Job Summary
As an Airport Custodian I, you will perform custodial duties to maintain the Airport Terminal and its facilities, including cleaning and minor maintenance. This role requires adaptability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring a clean and safe environment for airport operations. Operating vehicles and adhering to TSA regulations are essential parts of this position.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 12 months of verifiable work experience in commercial custodial work
- Knowledge of supplies, materials, and equipment used in commercial custodial work
- Ability to pass and maintain FBI and TSA background checks
- Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions
- Valid Oregon driver's license within 30 days of hire and a safe driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Two years or more of verifiable custodian work experience in an airport environment
- Commercial custodian work experience
- Work experience in a City/County government setting
- First Aid/CPR certification within six months of employment
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work all shifts for two months at a time
