Job Summary
Guide and direct aircraft on taxiways to ensure safe, on-time gate entry and departure. Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, including items weighing up to 75 lbs. Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts. Collaborate with internal teams to process passenger information accurately and resolve flight interruption issues per company policies. Greet passengers, provide seamless check-in and ticketing experiences, and rebook itineraries using reservation software. Clean aircraft interiors and service lavatories. May work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and handle passenger inquiries. Work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role
- Ability to work rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
- Flexible to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs
- Must be willing and able to work outside in variable weather conditions
- Must enjoy working under deadlines, working a physical job outdoors, and have an interest in the airline industry
- Able to communicate in a clear, polite, and friendly manner
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
