Job Summary
Greet passengers, provide seamless check-in and ticketing experiences, and utilize reservation software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes. Load, unload, and sort freight, mail, and baggage safely while achieving on-time departures and arrivals, including lifting bags up to 75 pounds and cruising on the tarmac in company vehicles. Work flexible shifts that may include irregular hours, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions. This entry-level role offers paid on-the-job training, free travel on the American Airlines global network, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license; or otherwise maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role.
- 18 years or older.
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
