Job Summary

Airline Support Engineer (Senior or Principal) at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Serve as the technical interface between Boeing and airline partners, acting as a proactive customer advocate to understand airline issues, guide products and services, and drive issues to closure. Lead coordination with Boeing functional/integration teams, maintain frequent contact with field representatives and customers, and author/review technical documentation and reports. Manage Boeing customer engagements globally through Executive and Technical Review Meetings, and travel to airline bases as required. Work with Service Engineering, Field Service Representatives, Customer Engineering, Program Management, Sales, and Airline Logistics to build and maintain relationships, prioritize and resolve in-service issues, and communicate plans to internal and external stakeholders. Expect occasional travel, potential shift adjustments for 24/7 support, and 100% onsite work in Seal Beach, CA. Preferred to have ABET-accredited degree; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with senior executives and managers, and to lead across customer accounts. Relocation may be offered based on eligibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in an engineering discipline
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends as needed
