Job Summary
Assist customers with fare quotes, boarding gate functions, and ticket counter operations while maintaining professional interactions with passengers and crew. Perform assignments across airport functional areas including baggage counters, check-in gates, control centers, and rotations through the bag-room, ramp, and terminals. Translate and transcribe communications, operate machinery and equipment to manage data confidentially, and complete accurate cash handling transactions and manifests. Handle large bulky items, including carts, and perform duties requiring continuous standing and walking in an environment with aircraft sounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or G.E.D equivalent
- Must be able to obtain security clearance from US Customs and Border Protection
- Valid proof of citizenship or authorized residency
- English proficient
- Computer savvy
- Drug screening required at time of hire
- Ability to adapt quickly to unforeseen situations
- Effective communication skills
- Good listening skills
- Able to multi-task
- Organized and logical thinker
- Make quick and rational decisions
- Problem Solving
