Job Summary
CDL Driver I responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering catering items, beverages, and equipment to assigned aircraft on schedule and in full compliance with aviation safety standards. Works with flight crews, ramp agents, and internal teams to ensure each flight is properly catered and ready for departure. Performs load-related duties, operates trucks and lift platforms, verifies load sheets, communicates with flight attendants and ramp staff, and adheres to FAA, TSA, DOT, and airport safety guidelines. Maintains vehicle inspections, DOT medical card, and HACCP/GMP food safety procedures. Supports warehouse operations and may assist with replenishing carts and equipment while ensuring on-time delivery in a 24/7 aviation environment.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class B license required
- Minimum 1–2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- DOT medical exam required
- Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing
- TSA, Customs, and airport background checks
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to climb and work on elevated truck platforms
- Reliable attendance and flexible schedules (24/7 operation)
- English required; bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
