Job Summary
Supervise a team of drivers and driver assistants coordinating services between the kitchen and flights, ensuring quality production standards and compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Manage daily manpower planning, assign workstations, and handle late flights or equipment changes while maintaining radio contact with Operations and leads. Conduct regular kitchen checks, verify aircraft catering, and oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and fleet. Prepare management reports, coach employees on performance, and ensure adherence to wage policies and union agreements. Submit applications by 08/21/2026; deadline is 09/04/2026.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years supervisory experience working in a high volume, manufacturing, food production, and restaurant or catering environment or equivalent experience in the related field
- Must have strong and effective leadership skills
- Ability to successfully manage a staff of 30+ hourly employees
- Current or previous labor relations experience
- Ability to train others
- Ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees on a daily basis
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Certification
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/Vietnamese/Hindi/Polish
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Current or previous labor relations experience is a plus, but not required
