Job Summary
Airfreight Operations Coordinator responsible for managing import/export shipments end-to-end with a focus on customer service and compliance. Role includes ensuring shipments are processed efficiently and compliantly from start to finish, updating workflow documentation, liaising with suppliers for cost-effective bookings, handling customs entries per customer instructions, coordinating with warehouse and transport teams, and supporting billing and profitability analysis. Requires knowledge of US Customs procedures, familiarity with Cargowise and Dangerous Goods compliance (advantage), strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and excellent communication. Base location: Doral, FL; schedule: Tue-Sat 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Import/Export processes
- Solid background in US Customs law and procedures
- Experience with Cargowise and Dangerous Goods compliance (advantage)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
